Back Pain

From acute tweaks to chronic, decade-long pain, there's almost always a path forward.

About Back Pain

Back pain is the most common reason patients come to see us, and rarely is it just one thing. The disc, the joints, the muscles, the nervous system, and your daily movement patterns all play a role.

We start by figuring out where the pain is actually generated, not just where it hurts. Then we build a plan that addresses the root cause, not just the symptom. Most patients feel meaningful improvement within their first 2–4 visits.

Common causes

  • Disc bulge, herniation, or degeneration
  • Facet joint dysfunction or restriction
  • Muscular imbalance and weakness
  • Postural strain from desk work, lifting, or sleep
  • Old injuries that never fully resolved

How we treat it

  • Comprehensive exam to localize the pain source
  • Specific chiropractic adjustments (Gonstead, Diversified, Activator)
  • Spinal decompression for disc involvement
  • Soft-tissue and trigger-point work
  • Take-home exercise rehab for durable results
