Pinched Nerve

Pinched nerves create predictable patterns. The right care follows the pattern back to the source.

About Pinched Nerve

A 'pinched nerve' is compression or irritation of a spinal nerve root. The symptoms, pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, follow the specific path of that nerve. That's how we know which segment is involved.

Most pinched nerves respond well to a combination of adjusting, decompression where appropriate, and nerve mobility work.

Common causes

  • Disc bulge or herniation pressing on a nerve root
  • Facet joint hypertrophy
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Postural strain or muscle entrapment

How we treat it

  • Specific adjusting at the affected segment
  • Non-surgical decompression if disc-driven
  • Nerve mobility / glide rehab
  • Postural correction to reduce future episodes
