About Neuropathy
Peripheral neuropathy, numbness, tingling, or burning in the hands or feet, has many causes: diabetes, chemotherapy, vitamin deficiencies, mechanical compression, and more. Treatment depends on the cause.
Some symptoms may come from a focal musculoskeletal compression, while metabolic, toxic, nutritional, or neurologic causes require medical management. A careful assessment and referral or testing may be needed before any conservative musculoskeletal care is considered.
